DUPILUMAB (doo pil' ue mab) is an injection used to treat certain patients with eczema and asthma.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.
They need to know if you have any of these conditions: -asthma -parasitic (helminth) infection -an unusual or allergic reaction to dupilumab, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives -pregnant or trying to get pregnant -breast-feeding
This medicine is for injection under the skin. You will be taught how to prepare and give this medicine. Use exactly as directed. Take your medicine at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. It is important that you put your used needles and syringes in a special sharps container. Do not put them in a trash can. If you do not have a sharps container, call your pharmacist or healthcare provider to get one. Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this medicine may be prescribed for children as young as 12 years for selected conditions, precautions do apply.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can if it is within 7 days from the missed dose. If it is more than 7 days from your last dose, take only the next dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

Tell your doctor or healthcare professional if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse. You should not receive certain vaccines while using this medicine. Dupilumab may prevent a vaccine from working. Talk to your health care provider if you need to receive a vaccine while using this medicine.
Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible: -allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue -changes in vision -eye pain or swelling Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome): -cold sores -dry or itching eyes -pain, redness, or irritation at site where injected

Keep out of the reach of children. Store this medicine in the refrigerator between 2 and 8 degrees C (36 and 46 degrees F) until you are ready to prepare your injection; do not freeze. You may also store at room temperature for up to 14 days if needed. Do not store above 25 degrees C (77 degrees F) or expose to heat. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
